Sterflat Maintenance 2026, disturbances in Q1 and Q2

During the first half of 2026, maintenance will be carried out on the balconies at Sterflat, and the masonry will be repointed. During this period, disturbances may occur at various times for all accommodations.

The work will be carried out in phases and per floor; no scaffolding will be placed on the balcony side. Execution depends on weather and wind conditions and will take place on weekdays between 08:00 and 16:00. No work will be performed in the evenings or on weekends.


Reservations remain possible. Rentals Egmond will inform guests in a timely and targeted manner and will, if necessary, take appropriate measures.

Schedule:

Masonry work

→ Chiseling out the joints will start in the week of January 19. These works are expected to take 3 to 4 weeks and will be accompanied by a lot of noise pollution.

→ Scaffolding will be placed on the north and south sides of the building; there is no scaffolding on the balcony sides. The masonry work on both facades, i.e., north and south sides, will be carried out simultaneously to limit the duration of noise disturbance.

Balcony work

→ Work on the balconies will start in mid-February and will proceed from top to bottom.

→ The balcony work will be carried out using suspended platforms and dust screens. The dust screens will only be installed during the work; afterward, the view will be fully restored.
