Parking during your stay

Parking in the municipality of Bergen-NH is accessible to everyone. The municipality of Bergen-NH certainly wants to be a welcoming municipality for its visitors, especially day visitors and holidaymakers, without neglecting its own residents.

Please note: From March 1st to October 31st and on all weekends, paid parking applies throughout Egmond aan Zee between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Outside of these periods, parking is free in Egmond aan Zee. Several parking zones (see link) apply in Egmond aan Zee.

At Rentals Egmond, your booking always includes free parking for one vehicle:

• Provide the license plate number
  Rentals Egmond asks every guest to provide the vehicle's license plate number upon reservation or prior to arrival.
• Accommodation with a garage or parking space
  Due to parking pressure in Egmond, you must use the parking facility belonging to your accommodation (garage or parking space). The provided license plate number will only be used in case of emergency.
• Accommodation with parking permit
  If there is no parking facility at your accommodation, you must park on the public road.

From March 1st to October 31st and on all weekends, you must park in zones B, C, and D using the provided license plate number. We process the license plate number in our digital system, so there is no physical parking card. The parking service is available from 12:00 noon on the day of arrival until 12:00 noon on the day of departure.

If you have been or will be granted a parking permit:

You are responsible for providing the correct license plate number in advance and verifying it upon arrival.

The license plate number indicated on the arrival envelope is linked, and if it is incorrect, please contact us immediately by phone.

You are responsible for parking in the correct zone. Upon arrival, please determine which zone applies to you and check the zoning at the parking space.

Providing a license plate number does not entitle you to a parking permit. Issued parking permits are included in the reservation confirmation or will be confirmed by email.
